Miracle Card 38: I release my irritation/upset quickly nowadays because I know blaming others does not bring me the relief I truly desire.
My desire for love is so strong that I cannot stay upset for long.
This week Catia and I were watching videos (in Portuguese) posted by people who had significant insights playing the Miracle Choice game and we both had the same thought – lets play the game together!
I played with an intention related to money and Miracle Card 38 brought a “light bulb” moment.
Reading the card I could recognise that it’s generally true that I release my irritation and upset quickly. I rapidly realise that blaming others or holding onto attack thoughts is just not a good idea!
But in the area of money something else was happening. I tended to allow myself to stay with my thoughts of lack, thoughts of scarcity, thoughts of being a victim – lots of fearful thoughts.
We all probably have some areas of our lives where releasing irritation or upset seems harder than others. Those are the areas that we need to be open to look at more closely. We often hold onto unconscious beliefs and thoughts because we value or identify with them. They give us something that we think we want even though it’s not in our best interests. We hang onto an identity that is not loving or expanded because we somehow think we are unworthy of claiming our true Identity.
Somehow we don’t see what we are doing or if we catch a glimpse of what we’re up to we don’t know how to go deeper than our normal level of awareness. Our little willingness (not strong desire) to ask for inner help to remember our unconscious choices is all we need to start the journey. We made unhelpful choices thinking they were in our best interests but we were mistaken. Our unconscious mistake is active when we are upset.
Playing the Miracle Choice game can be considered a conscious choice to look at our unconscious thoughts. The Miracle Cards in the game are often a paradox. They usually challenge players rather than stimulating players to accept and celebrate the miracle message. The challenge comes as players are asked to bring a particular miracle experience into the specific situation they have used as their Playing Intention. That miracle is what is needed to transform the issue they are playing with. The resistance comes because we unconsciously want to hang onto our previous thoughts and not embrace the miracle that requires us to shift and change.
The structure of the Miracle Choice game gives players support in many different ways (game meditation and the way the cards are written) and the game can be guided by a Certified Facilitator. Yet each player needs to be open to change.
I recognised during my game that I was ready to stop indulging my unhelpful thoughts about money. I experienced a deep desire to really explore with Spirit my unloving thoughts and limited identity in my relationship with money.
