We all come to a point in life where we try to find another way of living. We search for answers for our restlessness. Something in our hearts tells us that we could choose differently.
As we tread this journey, it becomes clear that we know very little. Each day, we learn something new. When we start to make deeper questions, we learn that there is a different way of being in the world. Life becomes more joyful.
Big questions were the driving force for knowledge in all fields of human development. Every time you make a question, you are inviting adventure into your life. If you do not know the answers, you awake to all possibilities.
What is the purpose of life? The answer to a big question like this can only be found by trusting the unknown adventure that is to live day after day.
When you think you know the answer to any question, you constrain yourself to your limited possibilities. And is there any real possibility of change within that which you already know and do? Are you satisfied with the way you see life?
Asking questions opens an inner door for change. Have you ever asked the question: among all the possibilities of the world, why do I have the feeling that I’m always creating the same thing?
Eistein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping to get to a different result. How can you do something different if you think you know everything?
If you accept that you do not know all the answers, you open your perspective to a greater reality. The unknown gives you more options and change comes when you are able to reach the other side.
We all seek happiness and peace and to live it fully at this very moment. To transcend our present state, we must begin to question all our beliefs and what we think we know.
”To learn this course requires willingness to question every value that you hold. Not one can be kept hidden and obscure but it will jeopardize your learning.”
A Course in Miracles T-24.in.2.
How can you hope to have a wonderful encounter with someone if your judgments and your “database” tell you that this person is unpleasant? What are the chances of experiencing something unusual if, in your mind, you have a fixed image of what you can experience in every situation?
In any circumstance, you can be quiet and try to forget everything you think you know and all the thoughts you keep about people and things.
Knowing nothing opens your heart for Love to manifest in ways that you could not imagine.
Do not be afraid of not knowing. The way to learn is seeing yourself as an eternal apprentice of life and the unknown is only a necessary bridge that will take you to Knowledge.
