I believe that we know everything we need to live our best and that this wisdom is within us at all times, ready to be used.
However, while we are asleep and don’t remember our real Self, an illuminating book is always welcome to remind us of the way back home.
I also believe it’s as a great gift that we can access this “collective wisdom” at any time: when we wake up, before work, in a waiting room, on the plane, before going to bed. A minute, an hour, a page, the whole book, and even just a sentence. We can even “lend” this inspiration or help someone, isn’t that amazing?
That is why this week I decided to share with you the important companion books of my life. Some I read many years ago, others I still read and reread now and then. Some are best sellers, others you probably have never heard of. But the important thing is what they have in common: a single truth expressed in different ways that can serve each of us at different times in life. Self-knowledge is key to our expansion.
These books offer a deep learning opportunity, a loving reminder, an invitation to question something that we took for granted, a more positive and wonderful thought amid the confusion of our mind, a wakeup call when we insist on being victims of the world.
Note: A Course in Miracles is not on this list as it is a well-known book, the parent and reason for many who are attracted to our blog. In addition, it is obviously the source of inspiration for the creation of the Miracle Choice game.

News and Insights
I’ve just arrived in Midway, in the state of Utah in the US, for A Course in Miracles conference. I’ve not gone to the conference registration yet but just taking a moment to realise why I am here (and also to write this message!).
Is it about meeting new people? Is it to learn more about A Course in Miracles? Is it about making connections with others around the Miracle Choice game?
Or is it simply using where I am just now to connect more to Love? Catia reminded us in the blog post that we can use every moment and every situation to remember love. It’s not the conference itself that’s important. It’s another opportunity I can use to choose again if I find myself using it for any purpose that would disconnect me from love.
I spent a wonderful few days at Pismo Beach with Tera, Lonnie, Larry and Radhika, sharing our desire to use every moment to choose love. I felt so completely comfortable with 4 people I had never met before because we recognised that relationships extend beyond the body, to a shared mind, and that is where we are truly at home. I’m posting some photographs and comments of my trip on my personal FaceBook profile if you are interested.
Catia encourages you in the video below to think about the books that have inspired you and share the message with us and others.
Much love, James, Catia and Juliana
