9 Stages of Self-knowledge
1 — I’ve discovered that not everyone acts, thinks and feels like me. Now I’ve started to understand some things, some set backs, some losses, some pains. I’m seeing.
2 — I’ve discovered that my way has light and shadow. And that this shadow is hurting myself and my relationships. And what do I do with it now? I’m moving.
3 — I’ve discovered that there are ways for the awakening of my Essence that is pure light. I’ve discovered that there are ways to deal with my shadows without hurting myself or others. I’m awake!
4 — I start putting these things in practice.
5 — On, no! I’ve just tripped, forgotten or drifted off again. I fell into the same old traps. And then I got this big desire to analise others but, as I’ve already discovered – also in the path of self-development – that everything is inside me and that everything depends on my perspective and attitude, I persist. I’m in myself.
6 — I follow my practice and now I observe myself more. It’s like being able to notice what’s happening inside of me – How come I didn’t see this before? I’m even more awake!
7 — I can see where the trap is, I know my internal triggers. And, even then, I’ve tripped again. But now the gap between the stumble and consciousness is much shorter. I celebrate this.
8 — I’m observing myself and have noticed that I’m just about to stumble into the same old trap. I already know the results of this. I choose another way.
9 — This new way allows me to be and express who I really am, what I really feel, want and think. I’m in truth.
I keep walking.

News and Insights
Many thanks to Tatiane Guedes for this week’s blog post. Tatiane is a Miracle Choice Facilitator and she also has a Brazilian company called “Spontaneum.” She just launched her book “Movimento do Amor” so check it out if you read Portuguese. Catia’s video complements Tatianes script as she expands on awareness and observation.
I was reminded by Susan Gibson last week (Susan is inspired to organise a Miracle Choice event in England in September – details soon) that I did a funny video years ago, on how NOT to facilitate a Miracle Choice game. There were several strange, awkward and slightly crazy players and I was giving “wrong” and inappropriate suggestions. We are thinking of shooting more funny teaching videos and it may even become a part of the trainings we do in the future. I love learning that way and Catia reminds us at the end of her video that the process of awareness can be fun.
Much love, James, Catia and Juliana
