In his painting The Last Supper, Leonardo da Vinci, who was a splendid artist, scientist, inventor, musician and Renaissance architect, emphasizes Jesus at the center of the painting, playing several roles, both within the spatial structure of painting and its intrinsic message.
At that moment, Jesus had just told all his disciples that one of them would betray him. We can see that they are all very restless, distressed, unsure and fearful. However, Jesus, who, in theory, should be concerned, is quiet, has a calm expression and conveys peace in his gestures. Where does this state of tranquility and love come from?
Observe how the painting contemplates all the emotional reactions of this revelation through gestures and movements.
But what message did the artist wanted to share with us? What do we feel as we move into a situation where someone has hurt us with words or deeds, or when we speak or act in fear? We can observe how honest we are – or not – when we communicate and act in our relationships. And are we aware of our real intentions in these situations? Intentions that come from the soul and are manifested by our physical body. From these intentions, there is an energy that emanates love or fear, depending on whether my actions are motivated by truth or by convenience and projections…
According to his private notes, Leonardo da Vinci speaks of the human soul’s intention through gestures and movements.
We could say that our body is an agent that acts according to our inner messages, according to our mind and emotions.
What about recognizing the divine being that lives in your physical structure and that of the other person? By changing our perception of the physical body and giving our body a different meaning and recognize ourselves through the eyes of love, we can connect to our true purpose and essence. If we are living by our truth, communication has a different result than if we were living through the eyes of others or of fear.
If I choose to be my physical body and turn it into a tool to convey what is really true to me, I will be living with a quiet and full frequency regardless of what I say or do, or what I hear. My Higher Self recognizes my words and holds me within my divinity, and thus I look at all people in the same way.
When we live and recognize this truth or this love the challenging situations that arise are only a higher step for our ascent to greater learning, for our encounter and abiding with our greater Self.
So, within that energy of love, I invite you when you awake to wish for a day that is full of love. Wish also that your body experiences this real loving inner conversation, and therefore finds its fullness and peace. Breathe …. Live … Love.
