I became aware of the “Just Be Here With Me” project very recently, even though it started more than three years ago on the Internet.
Originally, it is an invitation made through a poem-manifest (see below) to disconnect a little (or a lot!) from the social networks and connect with something that is simple but important in our life and perhaps is not being noticed: ourselves, nature, someone we have not connected with for some time or whatever.
But for me, I went even further: disconnecting from the obligations I imagine I have, from priorities that are not priorities, from the demand and criticism of the world. And connecting with what is really essential: my Essence.
It was a delicious refreshment and permission to simply stop in the middle of a week with lots of work, things to decide, and strong emotions coming up. And just listen to what is asking for my attention and yet I am not responding because I am distracted by my so-called occupations and obligations.
I stopped to walk on the beach, to be with my children, to sleep a little longer, to look at the sky, to do nothing, I simply stopped. And I want to keep stopping whenever I need to.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The #justbeherewithme project is about making room to reinvest some of that precious and valuable attention we spend on social media to explore other aspects of our life and our relationship with the world and to each other.
Take a deep breath and move your head to your heart for one moment. Do you hear that? SOMEONE (a child, a spouse, maybe an old friend) or SOMETHING (a creative project, a new adventure, the outdoors ) may be whispering, just be here with me to you.
