Your Unique Self
When I come across something unique and different, I really stop and take it in, but I didn’t always appreciate individuation.
On a recent family holiday to Brazil, we were staying at a house in the state of Bahia, surrounded by tropical Atlantic rainforest, and had the pleasure of seeing sloths (Maned Sloths) in their natural environment. It was fascinating to learn how different sloths are from other mammals:
–they spend so much time hanging upside down in trees that their hair grows in a different direction from all other mammals. It grows away from their extremities rather than towards them to provide protection from the elements
-sloths have very little muscle mass compared to other mammals, so that they can hang from thin branches.
-they have two extra cervical vertebrae, so they can turn their heads through 270 degrees.
-sloths move only when necessary and even then, very slowly. They cannot stand or walk.
I also appreciate differences in people. The strange old man is fascinating. The young person who has the courage to stand out from the group with full confidence is refreshing.
Many of us, as we were growing up, decide to leave our uniqueness behind and fit in with ideals valued by family, school and society. To learn what the “norm” is, is a necessary phase, but at some point embracing our unique self becomes important so that we can fully express love in this world.
“That you all attempt to learn the same things, and in coming to identify the world in the same way—the way that has been taught—think that you have succeeded in learning, is the cause of the insanity of the world and of your anger with the way things “are” within the world.
You are here now not to relearn or be taught what life is all about, not to relearn or be taught the “way things are” but to discover what life is all about and to discover the way to remake things as they are.”

The Miracle Choice Team has been busy in Brazil for the last month but now the attention has turned again to include the rest of the world.
Organising the English speaking online Pocket Game Guide Training has been challenging if the the people making up the groups are spread across time zones ranging from the US to China and have different availabilities in their week. It seems that most people have more availability on the weekend. If anyone is wanting to start an online training in English please contact James by replying to this email, as soon as possible, to help facilitate arranging groups. Apologises to people who have already signed up and are waiting to start.
If you have an interest in a training in Spanish please also contact James.
Here is a summary of how the Guide training is now different.
1. Immediate access to training videos and quizzes with scripts and manuals to download.
2. Three live online sessions (2 hours each) led by a trainer. Group size 4 people meeting weekly for 3 weeks. In the first session you experience a game guided by your trainer. The other sessions are dedicated to practising guiding games with the other participants and dealing with questions.
Our experience is that online training is in some ways even more intimate than in-person training. You have times to practice between sessions and the fun of connecting with others without leaving your own home.
