Last weekend I participated, for the first time, in a family constellation.
It was a group of 12 people and lasted the whole weekend.
If you have experienced, know or work with the method, you know that it can be a very rich and profound experience.
And it was! I’ve had many insights, and I’m sure many others will come.
But I want to share with you three aspects that caught my attention and touched me in a deliciously unexpected way:
1. BE OPEN TO SURPRISES – I did all my “homework” before the weekend. I researched, remembered and listed family members, histories and events. Okay, I’m ready! But I was surprised by who and what was revealed during my constellation. So unexpected and so perfect.
Conclusion: If there’s a previous idea of what might happen, it’s just an idea, a possibility. Don’t get attached to it. Leave the door open for the other infinite possibilities that may appear and perhaps be even more perfect.
2. SEPARATION DOES NOT EXIST- That was a beautiful confirmation. I often see this during the Miracle Choice Game sessions, but this time I was representing an aspect for someone else, giving light to that pattern and at the same time discovering a deeply hidden belief within myself. How great!
Conclusion: The issues in life may be individual, but when the penny drops for someone, it drops for everyone. The choice then is ours: to open up and receive this gift or pretend it has nothing to do with us.
3. VALUE YOUR JOURNEY – There is a certain part of me that believes that I don’t need to talk to others about my training and experience, that what it is, is no big deal. But I realized at the end of the weekend that not sharing is in fact not honoring within myself aspects that contributed to my path and to who I am now. In this way I don’t value the gold in my journey and end up not living or sharing this treasure with the world.
Conclusion*: “I know playing small is not a help to anyone. The light within me is an inspiration to others because they are also that light. So I joyfully let my light shine.”
* from one of the Miracle cards of the game, it reflects perfectly my experience.
Let us be more open, light and happy!
