Recently I thought that I was the victim of a busy life. Work felt overly demanding and I often ended up staying late and resenting it. We are also selling our house and moving cities and all the organisation that entails felt overwhelming. Miracle Choice is getting ready to roll out a new product and I felt I did not have time for all the details.
If I am not the victim of the world I see what am I?
The answer that rings true for me is that I am responsible for the world I see.
I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked.
A Course in Miracles
I discovered that taking responsibility only feels heavy or does not work when it is not taken far enough. If I feel responsible for some things but not others, I am still divided. Still resentful and at the mercy of the things that I am still not accepting responsibility for. So I end up with nothing new. I just continue to hope that I don’t have a busy day at work. I try to be more organised and plan all the details of my life. Nothing has changed. The stress is still there. The new way is to take responsibility for everything I see.
Responsible for the workload and for the demands on my time that keep me late. For all the many details that come with living in a home or moving homes. Of all the requirements that come with running a business.
Everything is coming from me, arising in me.
I own all of it.
I am responsible for it so I accept and trust it all.
I welcome everything.
It is a perfect creation.
I say YES to it all!
